Back-to-School 2025 at the French School of the Caucasus
The French School of the Caucasus had the honor of welcoming His Excellency Mr. Olivier Courteaud, Ambassador of France to Georgia, on the occasion of the 2025 back-to-school day. The Ambassador shared a convivial moment with students and parents in a festive atmosphere, thus marking the start of this new school year. In the morning, he also met with the two parent associations: the APE, represented by Mrs. Rusiko Gavashelishvili, and the APEC, represented by Mr. Sébastien Couderc, to exchange views on the projects and future perspectives of the FSC. The visit continued with a tour of the school alongside the administrative team. We extend our sincere thanks to His Excellency Mr. Olivier Courteaud for his presence and availability, as well as to the members of the French Embassy and the French Institute who accompanied him: Mr. Richard Requena, First Counselor Mrs. Camille Nora, Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Action Mrs. Lusine Bardon, Counselor for French Citizens Abroad A warm thank you to everyone for your commitment during this important day for our school community.

A joyful and colorful back-to-school!
September 2nd, 2025, our school welcomed more than 520 students, from preschool to high school. The day was filled with joy, good spirits, and wonderful surprises set to a musical background. In the playgrounds, decorated in a thousand colors, preschool and elementary students were delighted to see the famous and much-awaited BUBU, to their greatest joy. For middle and high school, the return took place in stages, with classes being welcomed in the auditorium. This was a special moment of exchange with Mr. Kamel Yassili, Head of School, as well as with Ms. Carolanne Vallée, our new Secondary School Coordinator. For first grade families, an important milestone in their children’s schooling, the school renewed its traditional welcome coffee. A warm occasion to present the expectations and programs of the new year. The 2025–2026 school year has begun under the best auspices, full of energy and promise!
